Description:
StewardEdge is the North American leader in the design, implementation and management of sustainable product stewardship programs. We work closely with municipalities, provincial governments and non-government organizations (NGOs) to develop effective product and packaging stewardship programs. In Ontario, StewardEdge works on behalf of Stewardship Ontario and Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES) to support and deliver product stewardship programs for the Ontario Blue Box, Municipal Hazardous and Special Waste (MHSW) and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) programs. Through Stewardship Ontario and OES, industry is required to financially contribute to the cost of managing designated materials as stewards of these programs.
