Position Description:

Position Title: Marketing Coordinator
Department: Marketing
Status: Full-time

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will execute key elements of the Philips Lifeline marketing plan to drive the subscriber growth objectives of the business.

Key job functions:

• Planning and execution of marketing initiatives that drive subscriber growth
• Monitor and evaluate impact of marketing programs that support subscriber retention objectives
• Work closely with the field sales team to coordinate and execute National and Provincial Tradeshow plan
• Coordinate all advertising with Yellow Pages
• Provide support in executing Direct Mail Campaigns which includes collaboration with print and production suppliers
• Develop / execute initiatives that optimize customer-facing communications and improve quality and effectiveness
• Participate in team initiatives that ensure Sales team is performing most effectively and is well positioned to represent Philips Lifeline

Requirements:

Education (minimum level):

• University or equivalent with background or qualification in Communications or Marketing

Experience required (minimum level):

• 3-5 years in marketing or related field
• Experience in managing and executing marketing campaigns
• Experience coordinating and executing Direct Mail Campaigns
• Strong problem-solving capabilities

Technical skills:

• Strong knowledge of all standard PC software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

General skills:

• Operates with a sense of urgency and copes well within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
• Superior analytical skills
• Good stress management skills and ability to face problems head-on
• Solid organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and hands-on approach
• Excellent listening and inter-personal skills
• Strong time management skills and ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
