| Web Application Developer Design, develop and maintain web applications that meet customer requirements Analyze and detail the application requirements based on customer input Test and maintain new and existing web applications Write and maintain technical and reference documentation related to web applications developed Work actively with the project team throughout all phases of software development life cycle Must Have Skills University Degree in computer science or a related field. 3+ years previous work experience or a combination of relevant education and experience Experience with an object-oriented language such as Java, C#, C++, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, or similar OO language Experience in dynamic web application development Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, MS-SQL, Oracle, and/or DB2 Experience working with Ruby on Rails or equivalent web applications framework Knowledge of web coding standards and interface design best practices Strong organization and technical problem solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential University Degree in computer science or a related field. 3+ years previous work experience or a combination of relevant education and experience Nice To Have Skills Experience working in Agile development environment Understanding of both .NET and Java based application development Strong working knowledge of development for cross-browser compatibility Ability to work directly with both internal and external customers/project stakeholders | |
