Senior PHP/MySQL Lead Programmer and Project Manager We are looking for a highly skilled, self-managing team leader to build from scratch, a sophisticated website portal for our US based client. This website will have three distinct portal entries, one each for customers, providers and companies. The project is to be released in three phases, taking three months for all three to be completed. The portal will incorporate an eCommerce component with full audit trail, provider locator for customers, CMS for both website maintenance and provider page customization, CRM for customer care, analytics/reporting for business management. Building in security, information protection, privilege levels, and data backup and storage are all elements of this role. It is anticipated that this project will involve the lead programmer, plus one intermediate programmer. The lead programmer will also act as the project manager. This is initially a 3 to 4 month contract position to start immediately, with a strong possibility for a full time position. Key Skills • 5+ years PHP, MySQL, HTML • Other complimentary web technologies such as AJAX are an asset • Experience with open source libraries including CMS, CRM and eCommerce • Expert knowledge and experience setting up and maintaining MySQL databases • Experience setting up and maintaining web servers • Project management experience • Experience as the lead programmer and team leader of a large project • Extremely strong communication skills • Ability to understand the full scope of the project and explain it to others • Ability to meet deadlines • Fluent in English, Spanish language an asset • Website design experience an asset • Hardware and firewall configuration experience an asset
