| Help Desk Specialist International company has recently set-up up shop downtown Toronto and is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to provide support to 40 home based consultants across Canada. They are truly seeking the following skill skill-set: 1 to 2 years corporate Help Desk experience supporting PCs & laptops, Microsoft Office applications, basic networks and telephony.! Also, a candidate who will thrive in a Help Desk role and is not seeking to be in a role that is more hands-on! If you have more work experience than this you are probably over-qualified. A stable work history track record! Someone who is energetic and well presented! A positive and team player attitude to compliment the 6 person head-office team in Toronto... Great communication skills - they will consider someone who is slightly accented but truly communication skills are critical. The right candidate will have the following: Good knowledge of PC hardware, Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications is essential as well as a good telephone manner. Good computer networking skills and familiarity with broadband routers would be useful. Some knowledge of SharePoint will be an asset. Ideally, qualified to MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) level with either an IT qualification or at least one years’ experience in a similar role. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate that gets in...the company currently employs 1000 people in the UK, North America and South Africa. They truly have big plans for Canada! We have been on the hunt for the right person for about 4 weeks and really we are coming to an end with this search. This will be an ASAP hire for the right candidate! | |
