| Tester - Automation Tester - Automation Enterprise Wealth Management System Our client is a privately held company and is the leader in enterprise wealth management platforms for the Canadian market. We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester, to make a contribution to their Automated Testing department. • Your mandate will be to architect and build at test automation framework utilized for both front-end and back office purposes for clients within Mutual Fund Dealer, Insurance, Chartered Bank, Managing General Agent (MGA), Brokerage and Credit Union wealth management enterprises. • Work closely with Manager of Testing in defining the scope of automated test suites. • Build and maintain automated sanity and regression test suites for feature and system verification. • Schedule and execute automated tests as part of the overall test process. • Report and communicate product deficiencies, test automation progress and results. • Additionally, as part of the Testing team, you will provide client support by replicating, verifying and investigating client-reported defects. • Perform documentation updates to specific user manuals as required. • Collaborate with analysts and developers to create test cases and provide feedback on results that contribute to the highest quality of product Essential Experience • 4-6 years experience in a test & quality assurance environment with 2-4 years of direct experience in test automation, within the financial services sector. • Hands on experience with Borland Silk automation. Expertise expected at the level of ability to design and develop Test Automation Framework using the data driven practice. • 2-4 years of programming in Java or C++/C#. • Hands on experience working in an Agile iterative development environment. • Knowledge of all types of investment products, including funds, guaranteed investments, fixed income products, securities and insurance This is a 1 year contract position. This opportunity will suit someone who is well versed in the life and times of a Tester and who is energetic, focused and professional in their work. | |
