Location: Toronto
Hours: Mon – Fri, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Classification: ADA
Wage: $13/hr

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized individual, who is passionate about making Canada a greener place to live; to join our cross-disciplinary green energy team as an Administrative Assistant.

Job Purpose:

As an Administrative Assistant, your main goal will be to obtain and apply technical and administrative knowledge of our Green Energy Services and provide support to our internal and external teams. You will report directly to the CEO. This position will require you to work with little or no supervision. Therefore you need to be reliable, resourceful and independent. Prior knowledge of the Ontario Power Authority’s Feed-in-Tariff (FIT) program, as well as various financial incentive programs, is an asset.

Job Responsibilities:

-Management of office resources and general office errands
-Assist executive team members with marketing/program development research
-Co-ordinate the Executive schedule, appointments, reservations and or travel arrangements.
-Organize; coordinate meetings and minutes involving multiple senior executives.
-Plan, organize and co-ordinate functions and or events.
-Preparation of reports, presentations, spreadsheets and documents, such as PowerPoint Presentations
-Prepare and/or edit internal and external letters, faxes, memos and mass emails in marketing initiatives
-Liase with various business associates from business suppliers and the business community
-Coordinate personnel related issues
-Manage general correspondence

Skills Required:
-A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Preferably Marketing, and/or Business Administration – Honours
-Previous experience in a senior administrative position
-Marketing, Executive Assistant and/or Environmental experience are definite assets
-Strong PC skills i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point and MS Outlook skills
-Self motivation, an ability to handle multiple demands by prioritizing effectively
-Extremely detailed oriented with Strong organizational skills
-Proven ability to effectively prioritize work flow
- Effective decision making and ability to work independently
-Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
-Ability to exercise good judgment, show initiative and be proactive
-Excellent aptitude for interpersonal relations combined with an ability to interact with senior management and other members of the team in a professional and efficient manner
-High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality
-Demonstrated ability for team work, working under pressure and respecting tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.
