Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:00am to 4:00pm (incl. half hour unpaid lunch)

We are looking for an experienced and organized individual, who is passionate about making Canada a greener place to live; to join our cross-disciplinary green energy team as a Program Coordinator.

Job Purpose:

As a Program Coordinator, your main goal will be to obtain and apply technical and administrative knowledge of our Green Energy Services and provide support to our internal and external teams. In addition, you will be carrying out environmental scanning on the industry and creating news feeds for our corporate website. You will report directly to the Senior Program Coordinator. This position will put you into a fast paced and rapidly growing industry and will require quick learning and meet strict deadlines. Prior knowledge of the Ontario Power Authority’s Feed-in-Tariff (FIT) program, as well as various financial incentive programs, is an asset.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out environmental scanning of the industry to update news feed on website
• Management of regular operations of the Energy Advisors across Ontario
• Management of office resources and general office errands
• First point of contact when dealing with existing or future clients
• Scheduling and logistics of projects
• Respond to client both technical and non technical inquiries concerning various conservation programs and financial incentive program management(FIPM) or the OPA’s FIT program
• Enter and update client information in company’s database
• Assist executive team members with marketing/program development research
• Receives and distributes incoming mail
Skills Required:
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Resourceful team player
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet Firefox are an asset
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
• Exceptional multitasking skills
• Demonstrates exemplary problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
