Senior Program Coordinator

Location: Toronto
Hours: Mon – Fri, 9:00am to 5:00pm (incl. half hour unpaid lunch)
Classification: SPC
Wage: $16.00/hr

We are looking for an experienced and organized individual, who is passionate about making Canada a greener place to live; to join our cross-disciplinary green energy team as a Senior Program Coordinator.

Job Purpose:

As a Senior Program Coordinator, you will be responsible the management of the Program Coordinator’s and some advanced operations. Your main goal will be to obtain and apply technical and administrative knowledge of our Green Energy Services and company operations and provide support for your team, the executive team and external personnel. This position will hold a lot of responsibility and require performance under pressure and a high degree of precision. Team management and human resource experience are required for this position

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily management of Program Coordinators and business operations
• Knowledge of accounting and basic book keeping
• Responsible for the maintenance of company records
• Scheduling and logistics of projects
• Respond to client both technical and non technical inquiries concerning various conservation programs and financial incentive program management(FIPM) or the OPA’s FIT program
• Act as a mediator between clients and staff/partners
• Enter and update client information in company’s database
• Perform quality assurance on files prior to submission
• Assist executive team members with marketing/program development research
• Creating and maintaining filing records of business operations

Skills Required:
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Resourceful team player
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet Firefox are an asset
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
• Exceptional multitasking skills
• Demonstrates exemplary problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
