| Housing Administrator Supports the Property Manager by ensuring that the activities of the Co-operative’s or Non-Profit office and its related systems are well coordinated. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs duties and responsibilities in the areas of member/tenant services, financial information processing, office administration, inquiries and community development. The duties in the aforementioned areas of responsibility, may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks: Member/Tenant Services • Ensure that all inquiries are addressed in an efficient and timely manner. • Process applications for housing • Work with the various committees as required • Process all applicable charges • Follow the Co-operatives or the Non-Profit policies and procedures specifically with respect to move in / outs Financial Information Processing • Ensure that deposits are completed in a timely manner. • Maintain tenant waiting lists. • Ensure that late payment, arrears and N.S.F notices are sent out accordingly. • Ensure that payables are processed accordingly. • Ensure that RGI calculations are done in accordance with the applicable policies, and that annual income verifications are completed. Office Administration • Handle reception and telephone duties during office hours. • Handle mail and courier deliveries • Order office supplies as required • Ensure that the Co-op or the Non-Profit office filing system is up-to-date and maintained. • Ensuring that reports, minutes, agendas and other Board / Member documents are prepared and circulated as required. Qualifications: • 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in residential property management • Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel • Must show strong office organization, communication and independency skills • Drivers License and vehicle may be required • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment • An understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act or Co-op By-Law is preferred • Available to work Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm with occasional late night required Please send resume and cover letter in MS Word or PDF format to: Human Resource Manager J.T.M.
