| Property Manager We are currently seeking individuals as Property Managers for non-profit and co-operative housing projects in Toronto and surrounding areas. The Property Managers will manage the assigned property as outlined in the management contract to the satisfaction of the Board of Directors. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the property in accordance with the Management Contract agreed upon with the Board of Directors to review financial status and to determine management priorities. • Attend monthly Board meetings, ensure records of minutes are made and prepare copies for distribution to Board members • Arranges for and oversees activities of contract and consultant service representatives. • Investigates members/tenant’s disturbances, violations or complaints and resolves problems in accordance with Co-operative by-laws or the Residential Tenancies Act • Prepare annual budget and activity reports and submits report to Board of Directors. • Establish a standard of service exceeding members/tenant’s experience that shows pride of ownership. • Direct maintenance staff in routine repair and maintenance of buildings and grounds of complex. Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of Community College in a discipline related to Property Management or an equivalent combination of building management and experience in administration or hospitality. RCM designation an asset. • Minimum 2 years progressive relevant experience in real estate management, service environment, hospitality/hotel/resort or related industries. • Knowledge of SHRA and/or RTA, computer proficiency, financial analysis, flexibility and time management. • Excellent verbal communications and report writing. • Able to work Monday – Friday with some evening hours required. • Drivers License and vehicle is mandatory Please send resume and cover letter in MS Word or PDF format to: Human Resource Manager J.T.M.
