| Graphic Design internship Graphic Design Internship Hi YSDN students! Looking for a fun and exciting start to a career in graphic design? Here's your chance to work in a stimulating design production environment! Corby Studios is a fun design and video production house. We create projects which range from graphic, logo, brand design to web design; from TV programs, documentaries, to commercials. Led by previous former YSDN graduates, Corby Studios' creative team welcomes young passionate designers who are eager to learn new Skils and gain real-life experience. This graphic design position has a 2-week non-paid training and probation period. Salary will be negotiated based on experience and performance. Responsibilities: -Create newsletters and emails -Help with the development of seasonal and promotional marketing material -Keep current with changing specs and technologies within the Web and content portals. -Use XHTML and CSS coding to modern W3C Web Standards -Optimize websites in different browsers -Act as a support and maintain positive relationship with all departments -Collaborate with the Creative Department to create original concepts -Work closely with the marketing and advertising team to complete duties and projects on time in a fast paced environment. -Contribute to the overall creative development of digital properties -Website maintenance -Work under tight deadlines and pressures. Requirements: -Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign& Acrobat. -Working knowledge of HTML (including CSS and Javascript) -Fluency in Final Cut Pro; AfterEffects is an asset -Excellent organizational and problem solving skills -Able to multitask and meet tight deadlines -Good communication skills in English -Second language is an asset; ability to type Chinese is an asset Sound interest?!
