| Senior Designer We are seeking a full-time Senior Designer for our downtown Toronto office (Dufferin and Queen). This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to lead projects, manage a creative team and be involved in all aspects of all projects. Are you right for this job? Are you good at managing time and schedules, working quickly and accurately, while controlling project scope? When you communicate your ideas, both orally and on paper, do you inspire people? Are you able to multi-task and handle stress well? Are you a self-starter, able to see what needs to be done and to jump right in? When you hear a great idea, do you immediately think about how to execute it? Are you constantly updating your skill set and learning more? Do you want this job? This is what it looks like: As Nyman Ink’s Senior Designer, you will design and manage many types of projects, simultaneously, from websites, to brochures, to branding. You feel comfortable working on cross-platform campaigns, delivering both print and electronic projects. You know InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator like the back of your hand, and can also code CSS/HTML beautifully. You are familiar with Content Management Software (such as Drupal, Django and/or Wordpress) and love the idea of using online tools to execute your designs. You have managed projects that went to press (chosen papers, collected quotes, attended press approvals, etc) and are good at managing outside vendors and freelancers.
