Purchasing Coordinator-Entry Level

For this Entry Level position, we are looking for someone who is interested in a career, not just a 9 to 5 job!
Success requires a candidate who:
• Has a hands on approach
• Possesses excellent analytical skills
• Is both flexible and professional in his or her approach
• Thrives on challenges
• Can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently with minimal supervision
• Works well in a team based environment
• Suitable for a recent Graduate
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Inter-company transfers including order processing / customs documents
• Purchasing of various inventory components
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and obsolescence
• Ensure deliveries are on time from all vendors and any delays are promptly communicated
• Update system once documents are received from vendors
• Ordering office supplies
Qualifications:
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)
• Experience working with Great Plains and/or Lotus Notes are considered an asset
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar purchasing role
• Thrive on working in a fast paced dynamic environment
• Strong work ethic, and a high standard of integrity
• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven organization skills
