Our Financial Services client is currently looking to bring on a J2EE Web Developer to their dynamic and complex enterprise work environment. You bring: A minimum of 4-7 years of Java coding and design, experience with C/C++ and/or C# an asset * University degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering fields * Experience within systems analysis, object oriented design and web architecture. * Additional experience with Websphere, RAD7, J2EE, XML, EJB, Spring, Oracle and PL/SQL is required * Experience and/or exposure to SOA is highly desirable. * JSF and Ajax an asset Learning Opportunities include: * Enterprise Application Integration and Service Oriented Architecture * JSF and Ajax Responsibilities: This role will be expected to participate in all phases of the Development Life Cycle including participating in business requirement meetings, designing and creating sequence and class diagrams, creating all technical design documentation. Additional responsibilities include conducting a business requirements review; performing a high-level work definition; completing a proof of concept/prototype; revising the work effort definition based on functional design; completing unit testing and coding; sourcing control; coding review; web building and deployment; integration testing; QA and UAT Support; production release support; and post-implementation support. In a nutshell, they are looking for someone with J2EE, Websphere and Oracle. Salary for an Intermediate person - up to $66k - Senior up to $72k
