Sr. Web Developer The Sr. Developer will lead the development of various projects, recommend optimal solutions to meet business requirements, provide time-line estimates and scope assessment throughout the various project phases. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Developer role and is a strong, hands-on individual with well-developed organizational abilities and excellent communication & leadership skills.The ability to work in a high pressure, deadline driven environment and manage multiple priorities is a must. As the successful applicant you will also be hands on and will design code, unit test and document software components; conduct load, performance, stress testing, integration testing and the tuning of software components; fix bugs in a timely manner according to the QA guidelines and project requirements; support the deployment of software components in the production environments; and perform 3rd and 4th level technical support to external and internal customers. You will also play an active role in solution architecture and design. We are seeking an individual with strong web development skills (including skills within Java, JMS,Javascript, JNDI, LDAP, EJB, XML, Soap, JSP's, Struts, Webservices and J2EE Compliant Application Servers (JBOSS). Candidates should also possess hands-on experience with XML, XSL, DOM, JSTL, AJAX, SAX, JAXP, DTDs, schemas and other XML parsers and tools. Solid experience working within UNIX operating system (preferably Fedora and Redhat Enterprise) and a proven ability in the development of software applications using object oriented analysis and design, J2EE patterns and design patterns in general.
