Experienced Baristas

Major responsibilities:
• Serve the "World's Greatest Coffee" and all other Second Cup products to guests
• Use Second Cup's Seven Service Standards with all guests
• Handle and be responsible for cash received for Second Cup products
• Perform all opening and closing duties, including equipment maintenance and merchandising
• Daily cleaning duties, including maintenance of guest service areas
• Preparation of The Europeans, Second Cup's trademark espresso beverages
• Entertainment of guests with Barista Flair and positive energy

Knowledge and skills:
• Possess clear and effective communication skills
• Able to exercise initiative and work independently
• Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
• Ability to adapt quickly to change
• Must have an outgoing and passionate personality
• Ability to handle a high volume of guests quickly and efficiently
• Enjoys a challenge and has fun with unique situations
• Ability to work in an environment that encourages and fosters teamwork, participation, creativity, openness, honesty and mutual respect
• Must achieve a passing grade (85%) on the Certified Sales Associate Exam
• Must meet all Barista Qualifications - Barista Oral Exam - Barista Practical Exam
