| Graphic Designer Graphic Designer posting November 24, 2009 We are seeking a talented individual with 3-5 years of magazine design experience to join our creative team assisting in conceptual development and all graphic design efforts. The top candidate will have a passion for advertising design, an eye for detail, and the willingness to learn new techniques. Our designer will be expected to be a proactive, enthusiastic team member that will constantly be seeking out the most efficient and effective way to get the job done, maintaining the highest level of quality possible. Working closely with the editors in the design; layout and content management of all our publications, the ideal candidate will also: 1. Design contests, promotions and other “paid” features in the magazines and online 2. Work with sales reps to create mockups and ideas for clients 3. Prepare client ads for final layout 4. Develop paginations for the magazines as well as ad tracking with the sales team Anticipated Experience The ideal candidate will be well versed in the following: • Must be MAC literate • Highly skilled in InDesign, Quark XPress, llustrator, Photoshop • Creative Illustration • Advertising / Marketing Copy Writing • Verbal Communications / Presentation Skills • Prepress Setup and Proofing • Multimedia & Web Design Please e-mail resumes and portfolio samples to Lesley Breeze at email below, indicating “Graphic Designer,” in the subject. | |
