Sharepoint Software Developer Position Summary: IBI Group is seeking a new Sharepoint Software Developer for their downtown Toronto office. This role offers you the chance to blacksmith a red-hot concept into a finely tempered, razor-edged web application. Armed with your understanding of how to monitor, maintain, debug and enhance existing system interfaces and hardware you'll be responsible for the creation and design of Design complex and sophisticated solutions utilizing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer 2007 as well as various other .NET components. You'll contribute not only your technical expertise, but lend business wisdom and insight as well as the ability to fight in the trenches and build a polished product. Why? Responsibilities: · Software design, development, testing and integration · Using extensive SharePoint knowledge and experience: provide clients with high quality insight and consulting services. · Provide guidance in all areas of the application lifecycle including requirements engineering, project planning and management, architecture and design for service oriented architecture, development patterns and practices, software configuration management, testing and quality assurance, as well as deployment and operations. · Successfully initiate, deliver, implement and support Microsoft SharePoint installations. · Support the delivery of comprehensive consultancy services, including supporting the work of colleagues. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or closely related field · 3 years of SharePoint in both administration and development. · 4+ years of .NET development · Demonstrated hands on experience with: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, as well as ASP.NET, AJAX, C#, XML Web Services, IIS, SharePoint (MOSS), Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio and SQL Server, Visual Studio Team System, Team Foundation Server, BizTalk Server, Dynamics CRM and SQL Server Analysis Services. · 2+ years consulting experience; managing people, projects and change in public sector/ governmental organizations. · Demonstrated track record of using creativity and strong process skills, tackling unusual and complex challenges to achieve measurable outcomes. · Experienced with Microsoft SharePoint in administration and development.
