Our client is looking for someone who is fluently bilingual in French & English, someone that may have just graduated from say a Computer Science or similar course, or, if no schooling, someone who has 6 months to 1 year of some kind of computer support and is interested in learning more in Information Technology.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Bilingual Service Desk Representative

Our client, a leader in the asset management field, is currently looking for a Bilingual Service Desk Representative to join their team. Our client controls approximately US$50 billion dollars of assets.

The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, possess excellent communication skills (English and French, Oral and Written), be an effective team player and possess a passion and aptitude for Information Technology.

Position Summary:

· Takes full cycle responsibility for end user’s incidents providing timely, reliable and courteous service.
· Provides IT technical support to service desk clients via phone, e-mail, Self Serve, or in person.
· Interfaces between end user and support groups.
· Logs all end users interaction within the incident management application.
· Exceed documented Service Desk service delivery standards.
· Escalates end-user incident situations through appropriate processes.
· Exercises constant vigilance for possible security implications during end-user interactions.
· Assesses severity based on priority and impact of requests (client specific, environmental, business needs).
· Make recommendations for process/tool improvements.
· Maintain Service Desk documentation.
· Establishes and maintains knowledge of environment

Essential Qualifications:
· College or University Degree in a related field or equivalent working experience
· Really our client is looking for someone who is fluent in both French and English and wants to learn, who is eager, dependable, with a positive attitude that is able to work with a variety of people in a high energy, customer service environment.
· 6 months to 1 year experience in providing technical, application support, operation of a network environment, or PC support is an asset.
· Recent Graduates are welcome to apply with a Computer Science degree or similar

· Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
· Bilingual (Fluent French and English) is mandatory
· A strong customer service orientation
· Demonstrated spirit of willingness and team spirit in completing assignments and accountability in assisting end-users.
· Exhibit a cooperative “can-do” attitude.
· Ability to obtain security clearance at “reliability” level. In order to get this, you must be a Canadian Citizen.
