Continuous Improvement Coordinator

The Continuous Improvement Coordinator will assess, develop and implement Continuous Improvement strategies throughout the Pickering Plant. This position also works with departmental leaders to identify areas of their operations where Kaizen activities and value stream mapping will improve Key Performance Indicators, operating results, space required, inventory levels, and manufacturing costs. The Continuous Improvement Coordinator will utilize such techniques as Value Stream Mapping, 6-Sigma, theory of constraints and 5S.

Qualifications
•3-5 years experience with a demonstrated track record in the field of Lean/Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment
•Black or Green Belt Certification preferred
•Bachelors degree preferred
•Hands on experience with Value Stream mapping
•Excellent presentation and training skills
•Excellent understanding and knowledge of applied statistics for Lean Six Sigma
