Sales and Marketing Assistant

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR FULFILLING TEAM ROLE:

Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Experience 1 – 2 years of experience in sales & marketing (preferably medical device) and/or office administration
Other • Understanding of general orthopedics.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in both a sales and an office environment

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

1. Maintain existing business relationships by covering surgeries and ensuring account needs are met
2. Learn procedures and processes of each hospital system to ensure best customer service.
3. Assist in conducting training and educational programs with existing and potential customers.
4. Keep up to date on market and product developments in the orthopaedic industry.
5. Complete periodic inventory counts and reconciliations of assigned inventory and physical site audits of consigned locations.
6. Administrative office responsibilities that include, but not limited to data entry, answering phones, placing orders, and running sales reports.
7. Assemble and build loaner kits when necessary.
8. Learn internal procedures and processes to be able to manage inventory through our MFGPro system.
9. Be proficient in shipping/receiving and other internal warehouse functions.
10. Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary.
11. Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards.
