Senior Sales Professional

Our client is a market leader in manufacturing and installation of chimneys, grease duct and gas
venting products. To support its increasing activity in GTA our client is seeking a
with demonstrated experience. This position will work from a home office
environment and will report directly to the company s senior management in Quebec.

Working as a Business Development Manager you will promote the superior products and services to
targeted clientele. You will get hands-on experience with diverse products, service key accounts and
learn the fundamentals of the business, customers and product lines. The primary focus of this function
is territory development by pursuing new customers.

Responsibilities:
Identify and contact new customers to further expand sales base and revenue potential through nontraditional
venues
Prepare, submit, and present proposals to customers demonstrating the added value
Advise management of changing customer market requirements
Maintain client relationships, develop new business and provide solutions to major accounts
Keep up-to-date on product information, industry trends and sales techniques
Support, leverage and build internal and external customer relationships
Sales are "solution oriented", with high technical content, value and price and are generated over
several months, with different buying influences

Requirements:
Focused hunter who exceeds in growing business
Ability to build relationships and expand networks
BSME or equivalent preferred
Superior knowledge of technical products and services in plumbing and heating installers
Proven sales track record with a strong technical background, complemented by strong business
acumen
Thorough technical knowledge of mechanical equipment design, operation, application, and
maintenance
The ability to communicate quickly, clearly, firmly and tactfully with customers
Bilingualism (French/English) an asset
Ability to organize and manage time and territory in a motivated self-directed manner
Strong computer knowledge
High energy, results oriented, self starter with a proven track record for success
Positive attitude, top notch work ethic and a team player
Strategic thinker with the capacity to adapt to difficult situations with diplomacy and tact
Must have a valid Driver's license and own vehicle, and be able to travel within the assigned region
(some overnight travel may be required)
Must be able to be on-call and work various hours attending to client/industry needs
