| Regional Sales Director - EMI We are currently searching for a Regional Sales Director – Montreal and EMI to work throughout Quebec, Toronto and Eastern Canada. Location: Montreal, Canada Proficiency Qualifications: • Three plus years of sales experience with an organization selling to senior level executives and key department heads; • Excellent oral and written communication skills including formal presentation skills before both small and large groups; • Demonstrated ability in problem solving and negotiation with special emphasis on closing the sale. Experience managing large territories; • Must be proficient in French. Position Summary: This position is responsible for the sale of the organization's Assistance products primarily in the greater Montreal area. This position sells the Company's products and services using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation. In addition, the position will focus approximately 25 to 35% of the time on Mining Industry clients in the greater Toronto market. Essential Functions: 1. Research customer needs and develop application of products and services in an effective manner by: a. determining market strategies and goals for each product and service b. obtaining & coordinating data and information from staff and member groups c. researching and developing lists of potential customers d. doing market research to determine customer needs and providing information to other staff e. evaluating product & service marketability in terms of customers’ needs f. following up on sales leads and developing leads g. maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and developments that effect target markets h. establishing and maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales i. working with telemarketing, sales support and staff to establish a communication path with the customer to ensure sales opportunities for products and services. 2. Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales in a professional and effective manner by: a. developing sales and marketing proposals for customers on technical products and services b. making presentations to users c. developing technical presentations and workshops d. maintaining up-to-date awareness of activities, industry trends and government regulations e. making regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads f. acting to close deals and finalize contacts g. meeting established sales quotas and revenue goals 3. Participate in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner by: a. researching, developing and maintaining long and short range sales & marketing plans b. producing regular reports and final plans for management approval c. maintaining an up-to-date awareness of strategic plans and procedures to coordinate market plans d. monitoring, analyzing and communicating sales data, via contact management software, to contribute to product/service planning 4. Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers a. communicating openly, honestly and constructively b. treating all employees and customers with dignity, respect and courtesy c. taking responsibility for and making every effort to resolve communication, trust and respect concerns and problems d. asking for information needed to perform job responsibilities 5. Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time. | |
