| Corporate Travel - Business Development Specialist Our client is a full service travel management company specializing in corporate and leisure travel. The company is the world’s largest single-brand travel franchise organization with more than 750 locations in more than 50 countries across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, The Middle East and Australasia. The company’s network provides their agency with access to global resources and local knowledge worldwide with its world headquarters in Vancouver, Canada. As a Business Development Specialist, you will use your extensive experience in the corporate travel industry to work directly with clients to develop relationships, create new business opportunities and drive corporate revenue. Focusing on the needs of small to medium enterprises, you will enjoy the benefits of working in a company known for providing great service and using cutting edge technology to their client base. Responsibilities: Conducting phone prospecting Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings Planning and preparing presentations Establishing and maintaining working relationships Communicating new product developments to prospective clients Overseeing the development of marketing literature Administering accounts and writing reports Providing management with market feedback. Respond to client requests for proposals (RFP). Skills/Experience: 3-5 years progressive experience within the corporate/business travel industry. This should include time spent as a Travel Counselor and in a client facing sales/business development role. Self-motivated with excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Attractive base salary and benefits plus commissions with targeted first year earnings at $80-100K GTA territory with 3 local offices plus ability to work remotely. | |
