| HUMAN RESOURCES Director SALARY RANGE 80-120K HOURS OF WORK AREA /LOCATION Mississauga TYPE OF COMPANY/INDUSTRY Recruiting company COMPANY CULTURE Exciting dynamic environment TYPE OF EQUIPMENT USED General office MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan • Writes directives advising department managers of company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits • Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law • Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs • Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization • Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends • Represents management in negotiating collective bargaining agreements. • Writes and delivers presentations to corporate officers or government officials regarding human resources policies and practices. • Manages the business units employee relations function by ensuring the company’s open door policy is met • Advises managers regarding human resources policies and guidelines • Administers performance management and salary administration programmes • Conducts needs analysis and develops strategic plans and manages projects that address human resources needs in business units • Identifies and addresses business unit staffing needs • Assist in developing recruiting strategies and procedures • Interprets and maintains compliance with laws and regulations impacting conditions of employment and advises organization accordingly • Monitors and implements equal employment opportunity and affirmative action programs ensuring compliance with legal requirements and corporate goals • Budget responsibility to include monitoring of expenses to ensure compliance with corporate cost effectiveness models THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Highly experienced, professional individual MOST IMPORTANT THING Bachelor’s degree required; 10-12 years of related experience; Technical knowledge in ALL areas of Human Resources PROSPECTS Potential to earn additional 30% of base in commissions annually BENEFITS THE “SIZZLE” Exciting opportunity for continual improvement in a dynamic, positive environment | |
